4meg tt mem upgrade. to 16 megs

My tt has a 4 meg tt fast ram card. uses 4x1 meg soldered 30 pin SIPPS.
question... has anyone able to go 16 megs adding 30 pin simm socketts,and 4x4 memory simms 30 pin. and adding address line a-10 to the daughterboard. and cutting a cupple of lines to the resister pack.
I have all the parts and the time ..but i was told it did not work...by one person only so far...
can send jpeg of board and instructions.
