Know of a way to copy disks with read errors?

Hi. I've been busy trying to "rescue" the data of a pile of old disks for my Atari 800 XL via SIO2PC interface. Some disks stubbornly refuse to be copied because of a read error in some sector. I would really like to copy some of these disks because they contain stuff that I've written/made myself (BASIC programs, fonts, pictures...) of which I have no backup anywhere.

Does anybody know of a way to copy disks when there is a read error? I've been using the "US Sector Copy II" by E. Reuss which works okay but stops as soon as a read error occurs. Is there a sector copier that will continue copying past a defective sector? Do you know any other (better) disk copy/backup programs?

Thanks for any hint!!
Niels
