Hi there... I'm trying to setup a freemint system, but it doesn't look very well...

1. The windows are somewhat disturbed... some elements don't have enough space. This leads to serious problems. Example: the filedialog. I can't change to another drive, because when i click on an drive it activates the folder selection bellow the drive dropdown.

2. I have choosen 27 as video mode,this should be: 640*480*256 when i got it right? But the background looks like 16, or maybe even 4 colors... how to determine the current screen resolution and color settings?

I'm looking forward for replies !
