I tried MyAES, it works, but
does not do textures like xAES
can (MiNT 1.16-3 or 256 colors
with MiNT 1.17 under AFROS)

I have since had a look at some
older XaAES code, and that is
already "mint-ized". according
to the change log, some source
from a version BEFORE 0.5.0 would
be able to be developed (in
Lattice C) as it was running
outside of mint till that version

Its not really an issue, as anyone
who uses an Atari desktop for
everyday things, already has mint
and MyAES should be stable under that
as well..

I will be doing some themes for XaAES
and then a version of them for MyAeS

I would have been nice to have
fancy AES support without MiNT
that was not as complex as MyAeS

later maybe, or not smiling smiley

Paul
PS MyAeS is a good alternative thou
