easyMint questions

March 16, 2009 07:39AM
Hi,after 13-14 years of dust collection in the second floor of my garage my old Falcon is up and running again in my office. Interessting to see what I was struggling with years ago!

A lot of things have happens since mid 90's and one major thing is easyMint.
I installed easyMint few days ago and run into some problems:
I have the FX (Three in one) card installed which increase memory, speed and screen resolution.
When I read about Mint it is stated that the mint loader(program) should be the last one in the Auto folder, what I see is that it have to be before the FXDIVE program (activation of memory and speed increase), but it seems to work OK.

Second is that if I try to activate the BLOWBOOT program (resolution increase) I get a black screen when mint is loaded. This happend regardless in which order I put BLOWBOOT in the Auto folder. Anyone who have an idea on why this happen and have a solution proposal?

Third: How do I mount devices in XaAES/teradesk? I have and SCCI CD attached, but can't see it(load) when running mint/teradesk?

Fourth: How do I prevent autoload of Teradesk? I would like to try other desktop such as Jiinee or Thing?

Fifth: How do I replace XaAES with myAES? is it possible? Could be interesting to try other AES.

Best regards A dreamer, and serious user (programming controll systems/C programming) by help of Atari ST and later the Falcon in the 80's
