Hi to all

I recently read an interesting article on a website regarding Atari 2600 bootlegs,i have only just restarted my cart collecting and was wandering just how common are these Atari 2600 bootlegs?,were many made and how easy are they to identify from the original?
I ask this as i live in the Uk and do not recall any bootleg carts at all in my youth or present day(or not at least that i have noticed) ;)

Hi ,

I bought an Atari 2600 JR from a car boot sale .
It isn`t in brilliant condition but using a universal a/c adapter
(and finding out the power input jack is a bit loose) i managed
to get it working :) I played defender with sound but NO color :(
I tried the B/W & Color switch , it did a differnce with the shading
but still no color . I tried tuning the TV .

Any suggestions ?

Also , i bought a woody old atari 2600 and that doesn`t seem to work :(
And besides defender i also have a cart called commander or something like that but it doesn`t work :(

Please guys help me out . If u can send me a email that would be great since i don`t use the net often . my email is : chrismifsud@onvol.net

I've got an Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer with some probs i've got all the original power and accessories and it's been in it's little case for quite some time in my neighbors house, and he just recently gave it to me. From what I can tell, it's getting power but I don't get any video at all. I opened it up and everything looks good, no burning, scratched/broken components. Anyone know anyplace that would repair or know of any tutorials to help me get this thing working again?
